Statement from the ESF:
We are wrting to advise you that, due to the number of entries received for the Pioneer and Dutch JOs, we understand the organisers both intend to host a second tournament in conjunction with their main event. This is being done to avoid disappointing players in categories where the number of entries received exceeds the maximum draw size.
The information we have received to date advises that the second German tournament will be called the Pioneer Cologne Cup 2007 and prizes will be awarded for the top 3 places in each of the categories; the second Dutch tournament will be called the Amsterdam Junior Challenge.
These additional tournaments are being hosted with the knowledge of ESF; however, they are not part of the ESF Junior Circuit. This means that ESF has no involvement with the tournament, players will not receive ESF ranking points and the tournament organisers are not bound by the terms of the Junior Circuit Guidelines (although we anticipate that the additional tournaments will operate in a similar manner to the main event).
The tournament organisers will be circulating information about their second tournaments shortly (if this has not already been done). If you have any questions about either of these events, you should contact the tournament organisers directly:

Les jeunes sont donc friands de ce genre d'organisation et les fédérations auxquelles ils sont affiliés les soutiennent. Il ne faut pas désespérer ...
